Prem Parmar, M.D. is Board Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Ottawa, Canada in 1999. After completing his orthopedic residency, he pursued a fellowship specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Parmar has worked in Johnson County, Kansas for the past 15 years and has covered several amateur and professional sports teams, including the KC T-Bones, KC Knights, KC Renegades, St. Mary’s University and Olathe Northwest High School to name a few. As clinic Medial Director, Dr. Parmar is involved in the management of each patient at Comprehensive Concussion Care and completes all final documentation for a return to work, school or sports.
Tim Kalkman, PA-C, CIC is a Physician Assistant Board certified in Kansas and Missouri and by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He completed a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the United States Sports Academy in 2003 and worked at Baker University for several years as the Head Athletic Trainer. Mr. Kalkman further completed a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Missouri State University in 2008 and has worked in the fields of emergency medicine, orthopedics and cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. Recently, he completed training and passed the Certified ImPACT© Consultant examination to offer advanced care as a Concussion Specialist.
